Private Bradley Manning is for me a weather-vane. He has admitted to sending WikiLeaks more than 250,000 State Department diplomatic cables and activity reports pertaining to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bradley included video footage of a US helicopter firing at civilians and journalists in Baghdad. He is a weather-vane because his actions demonstrated how one seemingly insignificant person can shake the foundations of the U.S. military and State Department...and that there was one person with the courage and conviction to do so.
Manning said his release of those documents were of “enormous value to the American public” and contained “two of the most significant documents of our time” — namely the Iraq and Afghan diaries, field reports written during battle that would lift the “fog of war.” By the “fog of war” I assume Bradley means that concept of war being something noble and just. War is not noble, not just, and only benefits corporations.
Today RT released a report that the Military Judge Col. Denise Lind overseeing the Court-Martial has told the government it must prove that Army Private Bradley Manning intended to aid the enemy. Bradley had already admitted to his actions, but the Prosecution wanted more. They wanted to execute him for treason. Col Lind’s ruling would force them to actually prove Manning’s intent was to aid the enemy. As we know, the real enemy is the very government now trying to execute him. Bradley was not trying to help out the Taliban or Al-Qaeda. Bradley Manning was trying to help his fellow Americans wake up to the truth about reality.

With the Colonel’s ruling we get another indication there is an awakening ongoing. This is a military court and one woman has decided it is her responsibility to find the truth not just find for the government. This took real and profound courage.
Yes, there is an awakening. Keep an eye on the Manning case. And if you do not already know this, Bradley Manning has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. And what an awakening THAT indicates. How about you? Are you awake and courageous enough to vote for Bradley? Here is the link: http://act.rootsaction.org/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=7612
One thing more: do a Goggle search of "Judge orders prosecution to prove that Bradley Manning intended to aid the enemy". Nope nothing from Mainstream Media. And what does that tell us?
