Ahmad Aiyad: "A message from my friend Zeynep Dagli in Istanbul "Dear friends from all around the world, something very brave is happening in Istanbul right now. Face Book Post on June 2, 2013 Israel is being 'attacked' in cyberspace, as a protest against the country's treatment of Palestians. It has apparently been quite effective.
Hacktivist group Anonymous has launched a second massive cyber attack against Israel, dubbed #OpIsrael. The collective threatens to “disrupt and erase Israel from cyberspace” in protest over its mistreatment of Palestinians. Dozens of Israeli websites were unavailable as of early Sunday. The following link provides an excellent analysis of actions taken by Pope Francis that break with tradition and indicate a new path for the Vatican. Pictured is the Pope washing the feet of 12 inmates. Two were women that is a big no, no.
I know there is much negative press out there about this Pope. But the only thing I see him doing is walking the path Jesus first walked. Pope's Foot-Washing Final Blow for Traditionalists, Associated Press, Mar 29, 6:22 PM EDT, NICOLE WINFIELD NLH 3/29/2013 Article from Voltairenet.org
By Thierry Meyssan Washington was quick to use the financial crisis in Cyprus to implement a strategy for capturing capital described three weeks ago in these columns [1]. With the help of the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, US comprador Christine Lagarde, the American leadership challenged the inviolability of private property in the European Union and attempted to confiscate a tenth of bank deposits, supposedly to bail out the Cypriot national bank affected by the Greek crisis. It goes without saying that the stated purpose is but a pretext and, far from solving the problem, this confiscation, if it were to be implemented, would only make matters worse. Threatened, the remaining capital would flee the island causing the collapse of its economy. The UN scheme known as Agenda 21 is a nasty piece of proposed legislation. We all should become aware of what it entails. But the good news here is the wool is NOT over the eyes of the Oklahoma State Government. Please see: pakalertpress.com or Google "Oklahoma H.B. 1412"
The fact Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina is a Jesuit who took the name of Francis with its link to the Franciscans, is a hopeful reason to think the Catholic Church might be on a new path. While the Franciscans is a group within Catholicism, there are other groups around the world following the teachings of Saint Francis. As the name a Pope chooses indicates the focus of his papacy, Bergoglio is indicating a focus not seen since the time of Pope John XXIII.
Pope John XXIII was working with President Kennedy and the USSR Premier Khrushchev behind the scenes and all three knew what we know now. Pope John XXIII died just before he was to meet with President Kennedy and only a few months before Kennedy was assassinated. Seems the Pope got a fast acting cancer...same thing that killed Jack Ruby, Lee Oswald’s assassin. The position of Pope can make an unfathomable difference in 1.2 billion people. It was Pope John XXIII to whom a President and Premier turned during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Pope addressed the world and the two leaders could then retreat with dignity. Pope John XXIII also dedicated his papacy to the poor and to making major changes in the Church through the Second Vatican Council. Catholic Church turns on priest who criticised Cardinal A key figure behind allegations of inappropriate behaviour by Cardinal Keith O'Brien has launched a powerful attack on the Catholic church's response to the complaints, saying he fears the church hierarchy would "crush" him if they could.
Why Do Big Banks Launder Money? Four major banks have been fined billions of dollars for laundering illicit funds in the last year. Is it worth it for the creditors? Crime novelist Chris Morgan Jones says ignoring the so-called dark economy would be like refusing to do business with Spain. by Chris Morgan Jones | March 2, 2013 4:45 AM EST Mexican and Columbian drug cartels, shady foreign officials, sanctioned regimes such as Iran and Sudan—those are just some of the sources of income for the global banking industry. Wachovia, HSBC, Standard Chartered, and Deutsche Bank have all accepted fines for laundering money from illegal sources. The question is: why take the risk? One would think that even with extraordinary pressure coming from shareholders and fierce competition between corporate rivals, surely taking such money must be an unusual and misguided step.
